Abstract
Shah Alam, Khamis - Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamd yang mengadakan pertemuan dengan pelajar Institut Teknologi Mara (ITM) hari ini mengumumkan kenaikan taraf institut itu menjadi Universiti Teknologi Mara (UTMara). Perdana Menteri berkata, perkara itu sudah ditangguhkan terlalu lama selangkah ITM kini sudah berkembang pesat dan melahirkan ramai siswazah yang cemerlang serta memainkan fungsi penting dalam pembangunan negara.
