Abstract
Mara will go into a joint venture with an Australian stockbroker company to provide portfolio management services to international and local firms. The venture will be carried out through the Mara-owned Malaysia Finance Complex Bhd. and R.F. Arthur and Co. of Sydney. Agreement in principle on the venture has been reached between the senior partner of the Sydney firm, Mr. Raymond F. Arthur, and the National and Rural Development Minister, Encik Abdul Ghafar Baba.
