The power of positive parenting

Abstract

Your report on kids living on the street was very timely. From the interviews, it seems that these children are the victims of
circumstances - shunned by parents, abused and not cared for. In the old days, children grew up constantly watched by parents or caring neighbours. Talking loudly, laughing excessively, throwing tantrums, pouting and answering back were not tolerated. But now, children are less fearful
of parents.
