Abstract
COVID-19 has left a deep impact on all of us from different perspectives such as economically, socially and politically. Interms of education, academicians and students are swiftly adopting online learning. With constant changes in standard operating procedures, it might be difficult to catch up. Nowadays, the current endemic phase allows for touring programme such as for foreign student exchanges.
Six Sarawak students and I were invited to participate in Southeast Asia Youth Leadership Programme (SEAYLP) at Northern Illinois University, Illinois, USA. For the whole of May, the students will take part in various activities such as leadership building skills, voluntary work and sightseeing around various US cities. Although we are worried because of the rising cases of COVID-19, we decided to take our chances and proceed with the programme.
