Abstract
LETTERS: Children used to learn about culture and civilisation from their parents.
Now, youngsters share their activities on social media.
They make content out of whatever is around them. They sometimes make up stories to have content for their followers.
Society must recognise that social media is more than entertainment.
It is today's culture and manner of living, a place where we may obtain knowledge and learn how to live a better life.
When television shows first became popular, they were an effective medium to disseminate news to the public because they could be watched by millions of people.
