SMK Green Road poised for UiTM sports science partnership

Abstract

KUCHING: SMK Green Road is in line to be the first school adopted by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak to further develop softball. Asmalini Che Abu Shafie, head of the university’s Academic Centre for Sports Science and Recreation in Sarawak, said the move is still in a work in progress and describe it as a win-win for both parties. “By being our adopted school, we will help them to be stronger in the sport and at the same time promote Sport Science to students in the school,” she said when met at the softball workshop held at the school yesterday.
