UiTM making great strides – Vice-chancellor


Abstract

KOTA SAMARAHAN: The pioneer batch of 345 graduates, including 13 with First Class Honours, in various disciplines received their certificates at the 78th Convocation of UiTM Sarawak at its Samarahan Campus here yesterday. They were among the 984 graduands who attended the graduation ceremony which was split into three sessions over two days beginning yesterday. UiTM vice-chancellor Dato Sri Prof Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar, in his address, noted that the number of students seeking admission into UiTM was growing steadily, thus making it crucial for the university to provide quality and sustainable education in order to produce excellent human capital.
