Convo day for 1,645


Abstract

SHAH ALAM, Tues. A total of 1,645 graduands will receive their diplomas and degrees at the two-day Mara Institute of Technology convocation at the MIT campus beginning Oct. 13. MIT director Datuk Prof Awang Had Salleh said here today that the convocation would be divided into three sessions.

The first session would be held on the morning of Oct. 13 with 31 graduands receiving their Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, 343 receiving their diplomas in Business Management Studies and 156 receiving their diplomas from the School of Law and Administration.

A total of 130 graduands from the School of Engineering. 49 from the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, 224 from the School of Applied Sciences and 145 from the School of Architecture would receive their diplomas during the second session in the afternoon, the same day.

Datuk Prof. Awang Had said during the third session on Oct. 14, eight graduands would receive their Master of Science degree in economics, organised jointly by MII and the University of Kentucky.
