ITM to stress on better conditions for students


Abstract

KUALA LUMPUR, Sat. Institut Teknologi Mara will stress on promoting a conducive atmosphere for studying to improve its academic achievement, ITM Council chairman Tan Sri Sallehuddin Mohamed said today.

It would also emphasise on providing facilities as well as learning and teaching techniques and update its teaching system and the curriculum from time to time, he said. He was speaking at the institute's convocation at the Putra World Trade Centre.

He said ITM had, among other things, introduced the semester system and new courses and emphasised on practical and industrial training for its students. He added that the twinning programme with other institutions of higher learning had produced many quality graduates.
