Abstract
In its continuous fight against financial crime,
especially corruption and abuse of power, the Malaysian AntiCorruption Commission (MACC) will hold a programme involving multiple parties that include government agencies, statutory bodies, universities and professional organisations.
The "Strengthening Accounting and Auditing Practices" initiative will be launched by MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki at Royale Chulan Hotel in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.
It will be participated by the National Audit Department
(JANM), Accountant General's Department (ANM), Inland
Revenue Board (LHDN), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM),
Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Malaysian
Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Maicsa), and Multimedia University.
