Abstract
AN English week will be set aside in all Institut Teknologi Mara campuses to allow students to practice and improve on the language.
One week in every semester is expected to be set aside for activities to be conducted in English. Other than official correspondence, students and lecturers are expected to speak and write in English during this time.
ITM director: Associate Prof. Nik Abdul Rashid Nik Abdul Majid said the first English Week will be held on a trial basis in nine campuses Including the main campus in Shah Alam a fortnight from now. The directive follows the successful organisation of a special week for English in the ITM branch in Kijang, Kelantan on Sept 25.
