Abstract
KUALA LUMPUR: MIT Holdings has called for greater support from former ITM students and bumiputeras to subscribe to its shares to ensure its success. Its chairman, Encik Hashim Harun, said the company, incorporated last June 27, has obtained the approval of the Capital Issues Committee (CIC) to offer its shares through private placement.
Basically the company plans to marshall funds of ITM students and ex-students to invest under the new economic policy, he added. Encik Hashim said the maximum number of shares that can be applied is 20,000 and the minimum 500 at $1 each
