Abstract
PADA 24 November 1973 Doctor Arshad Ayub (masa itu belum Datuk lagi) terbang ke bandar Sri Begawan. Beliau menjalankan tugas penting.
Beliau ingin meminta jasa baik kerajaan Brunei supaya memansuhkan buat sementara tindakan memanggil balik pelajar-pelajar Brunei yang sedang mengambil peperiksaan di Institut Teknoloji MARA.
Ketika itu kerajaan Brunei telah mengarahkan semua pelajarnya di Malaysia yang berjumlah hampir 100 orang pulang. 44 orang darinya di ITM.
