Abstract
The Mara Institute of Technology Students' Union has expressed disagreement with the new loan and scholarship scheme for MIT students. In a statement by president Encik Zahari Awang and secretary-general Encik Ibrahim Ali, the union said that under the new scheme it was possible that poor pupils would be given loans while those who were well-off would get scholarships. It added that in the past poor students received free to pay fees.
