UiTM Sarawak spreads Ramadan cheer

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak’s Zakat, Sedekah and Wakaf Unit has organised a ‘Sumbangan Kasih Ramadan’ handover programme at three different locations yesterday (May 7). “The three locations were SK Agama Ibnu Khaldun, Surau Al Hidayah at Kampung Plaie and Masjid Al-Qurawiyyin at UiTM Samarahan campus. The handover was graced by UiTM Sarawak rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali. “A total number of 78 people — of which 30 were from SK Agama Ibnu Khaldun, 38 from Surau Al Hidayah and 10 from Masjid Al-Qurawiyyin — have benefited from the contributions of basic necessities such as rice, flour and sugar handed during the programme.
