Abstract
PETALING JAYA: Pelaksanaan subsidi bersasar diesel pada kadar RM3.35 seliter bakal mengurangkan aktiviti penyeludupan bahan api itu ke negara jiran sekurang-kurangnya 50 peratus dengan penjimatan hampir RM1 bilion setahun.
Berdasarkan kajian Kesatuan Eropah (EU), ASEAN dan Malaysia, kerajaan dianggarkan menanggung kerugian antara RM1.5 bilion hingga RM2 bilion setahun akibat aktiviti penyeludupan diesel sebelum pelaksanaan penyasaran subsidi pada 10 Jun lalu.
