Abstract
SERI ISKANDAR: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry is mulling bringing back a discount card for students to deal with the rising cost of living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said the matter would be finalised after discussions with relevant ministries. “We need to discuss with the Finance Ministry and Higher Education Ministry first, as this matter is not solely under my ministry. “This idea can be highlighted as we are carrying out the Rahmah food programme for university students. “We also have a food bank for them.” He said this before attending a townhall session with the community and students of Universiti Teknologi Mara Seri Iskandar Campus here yesterday.
