UiTM Sarawak aims to achieve global renowned status

KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak branch aspires to establish itself as a globally renowned university.
Rector of UiTM Sarawak Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali said that excellence in education and research is the primary focus of the university, while stressing the university’s commitment to being at the forefront of these fields.He said that the university strives to produce graduates who possess not only knowledge but also soft skills and can contribute positively to both industries and communities. “This means the university aims to be recognized internationally for its academic programs, research contributions, and collaborations. “Many universities worldwide, including UiTM, place a higher emphasis on sustainability, whether in terms of environmental sustainability or ensuring institutions remain relevant and adaptable to global changes,” he said.
