Candidate’s duty of care

I refer to the report "Four men in Muar electrocuted while hanging party flags" (The Star, April 23). In the incident which occurred at 1am, a group of 10 men were said to be trying to position the flags on the electrical line using a bamboo pole. However, when four of them tried to lift the pole, they were electrocuted and thrown several metres away from the discharge One suffered broken ribs while the rest sustained minor injuries.
