Abstract
Keghairahan Plato membicarakan secara terbuka ungkapan 'politik' melalui bukunya Republic (yang ditulisnya kira-kira dalam tahun 375 SM dahulu) ternyata tidak berkesudahan.
Akhirnya beliau memuktamadkan pandangan bahawa bumi harus diperintah oleh mereka yang terdiri daripada ahli falsafah.
