Abstract
LETTERS: The surge of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has put us all in an emergency mode.
We must unite to combat the pandemic and rethink the way we live in the new normal. Although vaccines will arrive soon, we should never let our guard down.
The floods have forced nearly 50,000 people to evacuate and at least six deaths have been reported. This has put an additional burden on the authorities in the fight against the pandemic.
We should focus on prevention and control to contain the spread of Covid-19. The challenge is to ensure a balance between reviving the economy and saving lives.
