Corporate role in climate change

PLANET Earth is facing tremendous challenges which are largely attributed to the human desire for using natural resources at an unsustainable rate.
Climate change refers to the gradual warming of the earth due to the emission of greenhouse gases associated with human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels. There is clear evidence that climate change poses a serious threat to all aspects of life on Earth, the economy, society and environment. It is high time therefore for businesses to take a far greater role in building capacity to tackle climate change.
